Michael Peace - Head-shy Behaviour

Head-Shy

When a horse becomes head-shy, it is usually associated with a previous trauma to the head area and this can make bridling, bitting, worming, grooming and vet examinations difficult, if not impossible in some cases. As a species, horses, are incredibly adaptable and can overcome this debilitating phobia quickly and conclusively with the correct approach and sensitivity.
